Fiji Ocean Swim29th October 2010 - 31st October 2010 There are two swims on the first competition day (Saturday).
The feature event, is a 3 km out-and-back course along the northern shore of Malolo Lai Lai Island off Plantation and Lomani Island Resort.
There is also a 1.5 km event. There are overall and age group prizes for both events
On the Sunday, there will be the Fiji 10 km Ocean Swim, which will follows a clockwise course around Malololailai Island.
This event is open to individuals and teams of 5 swimmers, and the individual 10km swim will double as the Fiji National Open Water Championships.
The 5 x 2km relay runs concurrently with the 10km Individual over a 2km course set off Plantation and Lomani Beaches.
Plantation and Lomani Island Resorts offer a variety of accommodation options, restaurants, bars, great beaches and a wide range of activities. Musket Cove Resort and Marina also has great accommodation options.
Getting there is easy. Pacific Sun operates several flights daily from Nadi International Airport to the Island’s air strip.
The Malolo Cat offers a 40-minute sea transfer from Denarau Island, and Sea Fiji run transfer services around the clock as necessary.
