SWIM
The 1500m swim consists of 2 x 750m laps in the crystal clear blue waters of the South China Sea, off the

palm-fringed sands of world class Cua Dai beach. Water conditions in August are calm and still, with excellent

visibility and a temperature of around 29'C.

CYCLE
This fast 40km cycle course will wind its way through traditional Vietnamese villages, past vast rice paddy fields

and into tropical hinterland. There will be a drink station on the course before heading back along the stunning

coastline to the transition area.

RUN
This flat, picturesque run winds through the narrow streets of an ancient fishing village, where friendly locals will

cheer you on from their back yard gardens. The course also takes in the mini boat harbour and coastline for a spectacular finish at the hotel lawn. The course is 3 laps of 3.3km and drink stations (water, isotonic drink and

sponges) are available every two kilometres.

VIETNAM HERITAGE RIDE
60 or 120km Cycle

After our inaugural race in 2007, the event organizers realised that participants often do not get to appreciate

the full splendour of the country in the triathlon competition, being totally focused on their race.  In 2008 we

have successfully introduced a recreational ride on the following day from Hoi An to My Son, two of Vietnam's

major historical treasures and UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
