EVENT DETAILS: COMPETITORS The 1st Port Vila Half-Marathon and 10 km are organized by the Athletics Vanuatu on Saturday 31st July 2010. There are road races around Port Vila, the capital of Vanuatu. These races are open to all participants (men and women) licensed or non licensed born in 1992 or before. Some children races will be proposed as well the 31st of July 2010. ORGANISATION The Half Marathon measures 21.0975 km and respects the international rules for road races of the International Association of Athletics Federations. The Half Marathon will start at 3.00pm on 31st of July 2010 at Korman Stadium, located in Tassiriki area, 5 minutes drive from the heart of Port Vila.
MEDICAL CERTIFICATES A medical certificate is required for all competitors and must state the following: "no contraindications for participation in running competitions". Alternatively you can provide a copy of your registration if you are a member of an Athletes Federation Registration will not be recorded unless one of the abovementioned forms is provided.
